Backed by extensive experience in marketing, sales, and business development, Waraporn joined Burda (Thailand) in 2006 as Marketing and Sales Director. At that time, her career had already traversed multiple industries, including advertising, hospitality, and real estate development – her journey underpinned by a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Thammasart University. Since assuming her position as Managing Director in 2013, Waraporn has been responsible for all key business drivers in Thailand. The publications published by Burda in the kingdom also benefit from her keen eye for editorial content and – thanks to her breadth of experience – integrated approach to the industry.
Chief Financial Officer, Burda (Asia)
As the Chief Financial Officer of Burda (Asia) since 2013, Chatchai Payakarintarangkura manages all financial aspects of Burda’s business operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, India and China. He holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Bangkok University and a Master’s in Business Law from Chulalongkorn University. Prior to being appointed CFO of Burda (Asia), he held the position of Financial Controller with Burda (Thailand), and spent 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a financial advisor and analyst.
Managing Editor, Prestige (Thailand)
South African-born François Oosthuizen relocated to Thailand in 2005, after an extensive career journey spanning Africa and Europe, and covering journalism (both newspapers and magazines), broadcast media, corporate communications and advertising. In Thailand, François populated content for a tourism-based website and edited two other magazines before joining Prestige in 2014 as Managing Editor. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Journalism, and is a media all-rounder with an eye for detail.

Pa-nhan Thanapaisarnkit initially launched her career in 2005 as a media planner at an advertising agency, and gradually made the transition to working as a writer and eventually as editor of women’s magazines. She joined Lisa in 2014 as Editor-in-Chief, heading a dynamic editorial team.
Group Advertising Director, Burda (Thailand)
Sirima Limviriyalers joined Burda (Thailand) in 2000 as a Communication Manager to launch mass women’s magazine Lisa – the first publication in Burda’s portfolio in Thailand. She then made the transition into the sales department, and her responsibilities grew as the company expanded. In 2006, Burda acquired Hello!, and in 2013, Prestige was also added to the portfolio. Now, as Group Advertising Director, Sirima oversees strategic business development for all three titles.

As Editor-at-Large of Hello! since joining Burda (Thailand) in 2014, Pirahya Vongsavath uses her vast knowledge of the luxury sectors and Thai society to handle social news and people-related content. Armed with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from universities in the USA, she pursued a career in advertising with top international agencies prior to venturing into the world of luxury. In this regard she has handled marketing communications for brands such as De Beers, Hope Diamonds, and Hermès.
Style Director & Director of Burda Studio, Burda (Thailand)
After obtaining a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Poomchit Balankura spent a decade at a leading advertising agency before a three-year stint in Geneva, Switzerland as a diplomat’s spouse. On her return to Thailand in 2005, she dived back into the world of advertising, before joining Hello! as Social Director in 2008, and subsequently also overseeing special projects. In her current roles as Director of Burda Studio and Style Director, Poomchit manages all aspects of custom publishing and creative services offered to clients, as well as providing support to titles in Burda’s Thailand stable.
